For Renee and Eric....Renee did my tattoo, so I was glad to be able to do her cake and cupcakes. I struggled with the flowers on the cake, as the cake is my chocolate with coconut frosting - the cake is very delicate - I was afraid to attach the heavy roses to the side in fear that it would somehow tear the cake (remember cookie monsters arm????). I built up the flowers from the bottom, and let the weight of the flowers rest on the flowers below them....I did attach some leaves and a smaller rose near the top of the 2nd tier, but otherwise, they are not attached.
The cupcakes are vanilla and chocolate with strawberry mojito frosting and pina colada frosting (which is yummy btw).
My camera battery died before I finished taking pictures...so these are what I ended up with.
