Armadillo Cake

A coworker's groom cake, the southern traditional bleeding armadillo cake....made out of red velvet. The head is rice krispies and the feet and tail are fondant only. The body is made of 3 layers of Nancie Mcdermott's Red Velvet and filled with ermine frosting with coconut and pecans.....yummy.

A gift...

For a coworker who is expecting a baby girl.....It's an attempt at a cake I saw on 'Cake Central'...thought it was so simple and so cute....

Safari Cake

The cake and cupcakes are a recreation of a cupcake tower from "Bratty Cakes" of flickr.

Blackberry Mojito 2.0

These are my mojito cupcakes (adapted from Warren Brown's 'Light and Lemony cake') with a Blackberry, lime, mint and rum infused buttercream....I thought it was delicious! The other cupcakes from left to right are Monkey La La, Irish Car Bombs then the mojito's....

Wrestling Ring

HAHA....I laugh everytime I see that picture of the cupcakes, I inadvertently took it upside down....His initials are TH....The cake is supposed to represent this particular person retiring from wrestling and moving onto announcing.... The announcer ended up losing his feet because he kept toppling over....but I don't think you can tell too much.

Volcano eruption....

Dinosaurs and volcanoes....

Based on "A Baked Creation's" dinosaur cupcakes (see link under blogs I like to the right). The volcano has a cup in the middle in which we will add dry ice and water.....I'll post pics of that after we do it...
